St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Cody John Allemand, 35, Gray, LA, was arrested on May 24, 2023, at 1:45 pm on a Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule II drug with intent to distribute and possession of schedule I drug with intent to distribute. Allemand is being held for another agency.
Nickolas James Morris II, 35, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 24, 2023, at 11:23 pm on several warrants through different agencies:
- SMPSO warrant for failure to appear
- MCPD warrant
- St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant
Bail has not been set at this time on the SMPSO warrant and Morris is being held for other agencies.
All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
