St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Michael Schexnider, 50, Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 23, 2023, at 3:42 pm on a warrant for theft and possession of stolen things. Bail has not been set at this time.
Shanette Bernadett Marcotte, 44, Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 23, 2023, at 2:24 pm on a warrant for the charge of identity theft. Bail was set at $7,500.
William Ollie Ware III, 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 23, 2023, at 4:26 pm on a warrant for burglary-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.
