St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Sheila Marie Sons, 38, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 16, 2023, at 10:17 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of battery of a dating partner and criminal damage to property-simple. Bail has not been set at this time.
Christopher Glenn Fryar, 40, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 17, 2023, at 2:25 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled. Bail has not been set at this time.
All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
