St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 25 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Darren Joseph Jackson, 37, Berwick, LA, was arrested on January 24, 2022, at 11:49 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of methamphetamine and resisting an officer. Bail has not been set.
Jonathan Perou Jr. 18, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 24, 2022, at 1:13 pm on the following charges:
- Careless operation w/accident
- No driver’s license
- Hit and run
- Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
Bail has not been set.
Lateriontae Tabor, 23, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 24, 2022, at 11:16 pm for driving on roadway laned for traffic and possession of marijuana. Tabor was released on a summons to appear on April 21, 2022.
