Roxie Ann Griffin Dugar, 69, a resident and native of Patterson, LA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 3, 2021 at her residence.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday November 20, 2021 at New Salem Baptist Church in Patterson, LA. from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Burial will follow funeral services in the New Salem Cemetery – Willing Workers side in Patterson, LA. Reverend Samuel Calhoun will serve as the Officiant.
Memories of Roxie will forever remain in the hearts of her: son, Robert Wayne Dugar, Jr.; four daughters, Tresea R. Dugar, Shawn (Leroy) Dugar-Gant, Ivy G. Dugar, and Tamika D. Dugar; two brothers, Larry Lee Griffin and Clarence Lee Grffin; one sister, Patricia Joyce Ann (Ronald) Bennett all of Patterson, LA; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Roxie was preceded in death by a: daughter, Crystal A. Dugar; two grandchildren, Derrick G. Dugar and Sharday Dugar; parents, Nathan Griffin, Jr. and Marjorie G. Griffin; two brothers, Nathan Griffin, III and Harry Lee Griffin; her maternal and paternal grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.
