Our beloved father, Peter “Pete” Jackson Voisin (October 8, 1943 – September 13, 2024), peacefully departed this world to reunite with his cherished wife of 50 years, Marion Gaedchens Voisin, surrounded by his devoted family.
A Christian Service and Burial will be held at Wilson Cemetery, on Wilson Cemetery Rd. in Vancleave, MS., 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
Born and raised in Patterson, Louisiana, Pete was a well-known local businessman who owned and operated multiple businesses over five decades. His passion for automotive repair and his gift for engaging conversation were well recognized. Family was at the heart of Pete’s life. He was a devoted patriarch who dedicated himself wholeheartedly to caring for his loved ones, from his parents to his great-grandchildren.
Pete’s legacy lives on through his four beloved children: Denise Voisin and her companion Michael, Cynthia Voisin Conque and her husband Blaine, Peter Voisin and his wife Stacey, and Paige Voisin and his wife Shavonne. He is also survived by his three siblings, Joseph, James, and Juanita, and his 15 cherished grandchildren: Kenneth, Danielle, Jeri-Lyn, Julia, Trevor, Sabrina, Alex, Abby, Brooke, Cody, Colby, Jace, Katelyn, Braxton, and Payton. Additionally, he leaves behind 20 great-grandchildren: Claire, Kaleb, Kyle, Lucas, Owen, Boston, Wyatt, Wren, Stephen, Lucy, James, Alyssa, Amberle, Cecelia, Maximus, Kai, AJay, Bella, Anna, and Rhett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Columbus and Alvida Voisin of Patterson, LA, several siblings, and his great-grandson, Fenway Kennerson.
