MCPD Says Death of Two People in Morgan City is a Result of Murder-Suicide

On Monday, January 29, 2024, at 1:27 p.m., officers with the Morgan City Police Department responded to a residence on Short Street regarding a welfare concern. Officers arrived and found 39-year-old Primos Patrick Johnso and 39-year-old Alexis Ledean Robertson both deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

Morgan City Police Department said evidence indicates  that the cause of death of Johnson and Robertson is as a result of murder-suicide situation. The investigation is ongoing as investigators await autopsy results.
