Louis Joseph Aucoin Sr., an esteemed resident of Morgan City throughout his entire life, peacefully embarked on his eternal journey on June 1, 2024, at the age of 80.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Rhonda Baines and Louis Aucoin Jr., as well as his stepchildren, Howard Smith, Shawn Guarisco Smith, Christine Smith, and Denny Paul Smith. Louis also leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren: Ashley, T.J., Louis III “L.J.”, Brandon, Gabriel, Justin, Austin, and Maeve; along with great-grandchildren Wesley, Marcus, Alyssa, and Shawnna. His memory will also be cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Lenes and Inez Aucoin, his daughter Stephanie Aucoin, his brother Larry Aucoin, and sister-in-law Diettra Aucoin. Though he has left this world, his spirit and memories will forever reside in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
