Lionel “PUN” Johnson, III, 36, a resident of Centerville, LA and native of Morgan City, LA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 9:45 AM at his residence.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Siracusaville Recreation Center in Morgan City (Siracusa Area), LA from 11:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery in Morgan City, LA.
Memories of Lionel will forever remain in the hearts of his loving and devoted grandmother, Idella Wilson Johnson of Morgan City, LA; his companion Amy Boudreaux; his children Jayla Boudreaux, Lionel Johnson, IV and a son that he reared as his own, Jaylon Boudreaux all of Centerville, LA; aunts, Ann (Jerry) Lewis, Theresa (Reginald) Weary, and Cora Lee Jones; uncles, David Follings and Ray Bell, and a host of family and friends.
Lionel was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel Johnson, Jr. and Mary Lee Follings Johnson; a sister; his maternal grandparents, Ora and Willie Follings; paternal grandfather, Lionel Johnson, Sr.; a bonus grandmother, Mabel Hartman; uncles James Follings and Kevin Jones; two cousins, and his maternal and paternal great grandparents.
