Labadieville Man Arrested on Felony Battery Charges

Labadieville, LA – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon announced the arrest of 44-year-old Jarrod Joseph Boudreaux, residing at 2675 Highway 1010, Labadieville, LA, on charges of felony battery stemming from a Sunday afternoon incident at a home in the 3200 block of LA 1.

Local authorities were called to a nearby medical facility regarding a person receiving treatment for injuries sustained during an altercation at the mentioned address. Deputies spoke with the victim who said he went to the house in the 3200 block of LA 1 and was confronted by the suspect, later identified as Jarrod Joseph Boudreaux. The ensuing scuffle left the victim injured and in need of medical attention.

After locating Boudreaux at his residence, deputies conducted an officer/violator interview. At the end of the investigation, Jarrod Joseph Boudreaux was taken into custody and booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center on second-degree battery charges. He remains in custody with a bond hearing pending.
