Jeanerette Police Arrest Report 4/23/25

The Jeanerette Police Department responded to 59 calls for service from April 15 to April 22, wrote 5 citations, and made 9 arrests.

Ron Leonard, 43, of Highway 182, Franklin LA, was arrested on April 17, 2025, on a warrant for ST Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office. Leonard was booked, processed, and transported to St Mary Parish Jail.

Miasha Hawkins, 38, of Times St., Jeanerette LA, was arrested on April 17, 2025, on the charges of Disturbing the Peace and a Jeanerette City Court Warrant for failure to appear OWI First Offense, Reckless Operation, and 2 counts of Seatbelt Violation. Hawkins was booked, processed, and released on a summons to appear in court.

Destiny Welch, 29, of Guidroz St., Franklin LA, was arrested on April 17, 2025, on the charge of Disturbing the Peace. Welch was released on a summons to appear in court.

Malik Phillips, 29, of Jeanerette LA, was arrested on April 21, 2025, on the charge of Disturbing the Peace. Phillips was released on a summons to appear in court.

Leann Touchet, 26, of Henshaw Dr., New Iberia LA, was arrested on April 21, 2025, on the charge of Disturbing the Peace. Touchet was released on a summons to appear in court.

David Miller, 33, of Guilberteau St., Jeanerette LA, was arrested on April 21, 2025, on the charges of Disturbing the Peace. Miller was released on a summons to appear in court.

A male juvenile was arrested on April 22, 2025, on the charge of Second Degree Battery. The juvenile was released to his Guardian pending disposition in court.

A female juvenile was arrested on April 22, 2025, on the charge of Simple Battery. Juvenile was released to parent pending disposition in court.

Brandon Lively, 39, of Relius Ronsonet, was arrested on April 22, on the charges of Aggravated Flight in a Vehicle, No Seatbelt, and Distribution or Possession with Intent to Distribute. Lively was booked, processed, and awaiting transportation to Iberia Parish Jail.
