Registration for Franklin’s Bayou Beaux Summer Dance Program opens Monday, May 5th at 8 a.m. at City Hall’s Tax Department. The program, now in its 15th year, accepts 50 students between ages 5-18 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Classes run from June 9th through July 26th at the Teche Theatre for the Performing Arts. The program has become a summer staple for Franklin families, offering local youth a chance to explore dance and movement in a structured environment.

Since its start in 2010, Bayou Beaux has given Franklin area children access to dance education that might otherwise be out of reach. The program focuses on building physical skills while developing important life skills like confidence, creativity, and teamwork.

Parents interested in enrolling their children should bring registration materials to the Tax Department at City Hall on May 5th. Previous years have seen spots fill quickly, so early arrival is recommended.
