Thanks to the quick response from firefighters, an early morning vehicle fire did not spread to a nearby mobile home in Franklin. Friday morning at 4:56 am, the Franklin Fire Department was dispatched to the 900 Block of Alpha Street for a possible vehicle fire. Upon arrival, units located a 4-door sedan that was fully engulfed near a mobile home.
Firefighters were able to quickly deploy a hose and water to protect the mobile home and extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.
