The Franklin Police Department responded to 20 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Chantell McDaniel, 48, of Easy St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 12, 2024, at 11:31 AM, on a warrant dated April 22, 2024, for theft. McDaniel was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Juvenile was arrested on July 14, 2024, at 8:55 AM, on the charge of simple battery.
Jeremy Housely, 43, of Highway 87, Charenton, LA, was arrested on July 15, 2024, at 1:06 AM, on a warrant for St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple burglary and a warrant for Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia. Housely was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
