Eulice William Adams, 82, a resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Eulice was born on January 10, 1939 in Bayou Shaffer, the son of Clive Adams and Louise Champagne Adams.

Eulice loved his family and cherished every moment that he was able to spend with them. He loved to play cards with his friends and enjoyed going to the coffee shop every morning to visit with his friends, sometimes making a new friend. He was a jokester who loved playing pranks on people, and he made it known that April Fools Day was his favorite holiday.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Carol Adams of Morgan City; three children, Brenda Veillion and husband David, Dean Adams and wife Sheila and Natalie Adams, all of Morgan City; 11 grandchildren, Jill Veillion, Valerie Veillion, Lonnie Veillion, Kayla Adams, Carley Adams, Katelyn Adams, Heather Adams, Shawn Solar, Patrick Adams, Daniel Johnson and Jonathan Johnson; 13 great grandchildren.

Eulice was preceded in death by his parents, Clive and Louise Champagne Adams; one son, Steven “Stevie” Adams; one brother, Mervel Terry Adams; six sisters, Ruby Written, Ruberta LaCoste, Beulah Estay, Hilda Dobard, Edmae Landry and Rosalie Dupuy; his godchild, Louis “Johnny” Landry Jr.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Lonnie Veillion, Shawn Solar, Patrick Adams, Daniel Johnson, Jonathan Johnson and Joey Pena. Honorary pallbearers will be, Faron Adams, Kevin Mayon, Scott Garber, David Naquin, Paul LeBlanc, Mike Deshotel, John Landry, Byron Carline, Allie Adams III, Red Adams, Mike Domino and all his nephews and coffee buddies.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Callais officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service, and following the services Eulice will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
