Eris R. Osburn, Jr., age 82, a native and resident of Morgan City, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Also known as dad, grandad, grand-pappy, & sometimes grumpy, Eris will be missed by family, friends, & OTC customers.
Eris served in the National Guard and Retired from the Morgan City Police Dept.
Eris is survived by his sons, Dwain Osburn and wife, Shani, and Craig Osburn and wife, Erin; grandchildren, Brittni Osburn, Cade Osburn and wife, Kortney, Tyler Osburn, Alexander Osburn, Nicholas Osburn, Caroline Osburn, Zachary Osburn, Noah Osburn and Maddie Osburn; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Isla, Aubrey, Owen, Aiden, Rory, Roman, Caden, and Izabella.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Janice E. Osburn; son, Troy Osburn; and sister, Alice Faye.
A Memorial Service for Eris will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 10am at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Berwick with graveside services following in the Morgan City Cemetery.
