Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association: Week 3 Summer League 2023 Update

In week 3 of the Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association Summer League 2023, the standings are as follows: Half & Half lead the pack with a 20-7 win-loss record, followed by Ring A Roos at 17.5-9.5, Double Ringers at 15.5-11.5, 75/25 at 8-10, and finally Wknd @ Burnies at 6.5-11.5.

For individual achievements in the High Scratch Point Average category (30′ distance), Tim Gilmore tops the list with a score of 81.4, trailed by Burnie Williams (71.3) and Clyde Landry (62.9). In the High Individual Ringer Percentage category (30′ distance), Gilmore also leads with a solid 60%, followed by Clay Canty (48.3%) and Williams (47.2%).

For competitors in the 40′ distance, Dale Pearce scored highest in High Scratch Point Average with a score of 47.3, closely followed by Randy Giroir (45.8) and Tim Hayles (43.3). Pearce also claimed top spot in the High Individual Ringer Percentage category with a percentage of 36.3%, while Glenn Caillouet (24.2%) and Jim Guzdial (22.5%) placed second and third respectively.

Week 3 included Gilmore’s High Scratch Game accomplishments for both distances: a score of 91 in the 30′ category and a 28-ring game on one occasion during a single match.

Rounding out this week’s highlights, Al Graham and Matthew Strickland secured Best Won/Loss Records with undefeated standings of 6-0 and 3-0, respectively. Additionally, the Double Ringers team achieved the Most Points and Most Ringers in One Night milestones with scores of 531 and 141.
