PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Harvey J. Truxillo, III, 53, of 107 Highway 403, Paincourtville, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a traffic stop near Paincourtville Tuesday evening.
A narcotics agent on assignment observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The agent made contact with the driver, now identified as Harvey Truxillo, III. The agent noted an odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the suspect vehicle.
The agent requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle. During the search process, agents located suspected marijuana and methamphetamine.
Harvey J. Truxillo, III was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana
*Headlamps / Tail Lamps Required
Harvey J. Truxillo, III was released on a $5,000 bond.
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Garrett Michael Dugas, 32, of 1014 Bayou Drive West, Pierre Part, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic incident in Pierre Part early Thursday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 3800 block of LA 70 in reference to a disturbance. The complainant advised deputies that Garrett Michael Dugas had gone to her home and taken possession of the couple’s child. The victim followed him until they approached a community stop sign. As they did, Garrett Michael Dugas is alleged to have walked up to the complainant’s driver’s side window and struck her in the face.
The deputy then went to the residence at the Bayou Drive address and made contact with Garrett Michael Dugas. After speaking with Dugas, they deputy detained him.
After further investigation and inspection of the victim’s injuries, Garrett Michael Dugas was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
*Criminal Mischief
Garrett Michael Dugas remains incarcerated pending bond proceedings.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Mark Anthony Williams, 30, of 181B Senator Circle, Houma, LA, on felony drug law violations arising out of a traffic stop on Wednesday afternoon on LA 308 near Napoleonville.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Mark Anthony Williams and engaged in a driver / violator interview. As a result of that interview, the deputy requested consent to search the suspect vehicle which resulted in the seizure of illegal controlled dangerous substances and paraphernalia.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Mark Anthony Williams was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of MDMA
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Proper Equipment Required on Vehicles
Mark Anthony Williams remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
