MORGAN CITY, La. — Hargrave Funeral Home is inviting members of the community to stop by and pay tribute to the life and legacy of Dolly Parton.
A memorial table has been set up in the funeral home’s lobby, where visitors can sign a remembrance register and receive a complimentary memorial prayer card honoring Parton.
Hargrave Funeral Home says the register book, filled with messages of love, gratitude and remembrance, will be forwarded to the funeral home handling Parton’s funeral arrangements and presented to her family.
The tribute gives local residents an opportunity to share condolences and memories of the entertainer, whose music, generosity and kindness touched generations of fans.
Community members are welcome to visit Hargrave Funeral Home, 1031 Victor II Boulevard in Morgan City, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
