TERREBONNE PARISH, La. — A joint investigation by the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit (LSP SVU), the Houma Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Houma man on multiple felony charges related to the sexual exploitation of minors.
Authorities say the investigation, conducted in December 2025, led to the arrest of 29-year-old Tyler Ledet of Houma.
According to Louisiana State Police, an arrest warrant was issued through the 32nd Judicial District Court of Terrebonne Parish. On December 16, 2025, LSP SVU detectives, with assistance from the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, arrested Ledet at his residence.
Ledet was booked into the Terrebonne Criminal Justice Complex on the following charges:
Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor (LA RS 14:81.3)
Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile (LA RS 14:81)
Attempted Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes (LA RS 14:46.3)
Officials say the investigation remains ongoing.
Louisiana State Police emphasized that the Special Victims Unit is dedicated to protecting children and seeking justice for victims of exploitation and human trafficking through partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as through public education efforts.
