HOUMA, La. — The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday at a business in the 3700 block of Grand Caillou Road in Houma.
Sheriff Tim Soignet said deputies responded to reports of a shooting and secured the scene upon arrival. An adult male victim was located and treated by medical first responders before being transported to a local hospital.
The victim’s condition has not been released.
Detectives are continuing to gather evidence and additional information as the investigation remains in its early stages.
