Devin Hidalgo W/M 22 of Morgan City was arrested on May 12, 2024 at 8:21 PM for:
- HIT AND RUN
On May 12, 2024 at approximately 7:50 PM the Berwick Police Department received a call from the Morgan City Police Department in reference to one of their officers being on a traffic stop with a vehicle that had just been involved in a crash in Berwick. Officers responded and met with officers of the Morgan City Police Department. It was learned that Hidalgo had left the scene of a crash that occurred in Berwick and a complaint was received in Morgan City about his reckless driving. Officers spoke with Hidalgo who admitted to being involved in the crash and leaving the scene. Hidalgo was placed under arrest and released on a summons to appear in court.
