The Franklin Police Department responded to 17 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Lasheika Harris, 48, of Tabor St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 10, 2024, at 9:18 PM, on a warrant dated April 13, 2024, for theft – 7 cts. Harris was additionally arrested on the charge of theft. Harris was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Joseph Alcina, 33, of South Clausen Rd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 11, 2024, at 4:03 AM, on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle while license is suspended. Alcina was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Dennis Delasbour, 50, of Pine St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 11, 2024, at 8:37 AM, on the charges of criminal trespassing and criminal mischief. Delasbour was additionally arrested on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. Delasbour was booked, processed, and held on a $1,933.00 bond.
