The Franklin Police Department responded to 5 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Justin Singleton, 25, of Irish Bend Rd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 15, 2023, at 11:12 AM, on a warrant for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for battery of a dating partner, aggravated assault with a firearm, and interfering with emergency communications. Singleton was additionally arrested on a warrant for Lafayette Police Department for simple burglary of a vehicle. Singleton was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
De’Vaion Moore, 18, of Plantation Teche Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 16, 2023, at 12:24 AM, on the charge of terrorizing. Moore was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
