Our community sadly lost an earth angel on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 when Rhy’Keelon Jae’Von Talver, favorably known as Bulbie was taken away from us due to gun violence. His contagious laughter, kindred spirit, and love will be missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends of Bulbie are invited to attend the Visitation on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Patterson Civic Center from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a Funeral Service immediately following. He will be laid to rest in the New Salem Cemetery, Patterson, LA.
Rhy’Keelon is survived by his 2 sons, La’Tavius Hines and Jalen Talver; 1 daughter, Jeciree’ Johnson’; father, Reginald Talver, Sr.; mother, Mekeltinay Bourgeois; brothers, Chris Keenon, Trodarron Moore and Reginald Talver, Jr.; sister, Mar’Kenah Young; companion, Tereneka Johnson; maternal grandmother, Joyce Triggs; paternal grandmother, Mary Howard (Steve); paternal grandfather, Price Goree (Naomi); paternal grandfather, Moses Grimm, Sr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carmel Triggs, Sr.; maternal great grandfather Wilbert Triggs; maternal great grandmother, Ara Mae Mouton; paternal great grandfather, Dalton Mouton; uncle, Dwayne Mouton; niece, India Moore and his cousin Traylin Smith. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with as well as those he reached but never met.
