Shane Daniels, 36, of Willow St., Franklin, LA, while incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department, was arrested on June 15, 2023, at 8:38 AM, on a warrant for parole violation. Daniels was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Reginald Layton, 44, of Rod Ln., Baldwin, LA, was arrested on June 15, 2023, at 8:39 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and operating a vehicle while under suspension for certain prior offenses, and on a warrant for Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for possession of a controlled substance. Layton was additionally arrested on the charge of resisting an officer. Layton was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
