The Morgan City Police Department says on January 24, 2023, the department responded to a compliant of a rape. Officers along with investigators from the Detectives Division responded. According to reports, 38-year-old Danny Ray Robinson, of Patterson, had entered the home. Robinson went into the room of the victim and forced them to engage in sexual activity. Reports said, Robinson then left the area.
Investigators continued their investigation and placed Robinson at the scene. A warrant was prepared for Robinson’s arrest on the charge of Second Degree Rape. Robinson was also found to hold an active arrest warrant through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Robinson was located and arrested by the Patterson Police Department in Patterson, LA. Robinson was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
