Akron, OH – Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) located and arrested Romalic Nash Sr., 50 on the afternoon of December 14, 2022. Nash was wanted by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office for murder.
According to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, on October 16, 2022, Nash shot and killed Stacy Boudreaux, 52, while she was sitting inside her residence, which was located near the 100 block of Tasha Court, Gibson, Louisiana. Nash was allegedly attempting to shoot at a group of males that were standing in front of the residence next door to Boudreaux’s home. One of the bullets that Nash shot from an assault rifle went through the side of Boudreaux’s home and struck her in the back as she was sitting in a chair. She was found dead inside her residence a couple days later by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 14, 2022, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Nash at a residence near the 1100 block of Jeanie J Ave., Akron, Ohio. U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Senseless violence resulted in the death of a woman that was minding her business inside of her own home. Outstanding work by our task force brings this victim’s family one step closer to justice.”
