A victim has died as a result of a Wednesday afternoon crash in Amelia. At approximately 1:15 pm, first responders were dispatched to Business 90/Highway 182 at Beauregard Road for a two-vehicle accident. A spokesman with Louisiana State Police Troop I told KQKI News on Wednesday evening that they were informed that a victim died at approximately 4:30 pm as a result of their injuries. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, Amelia Volunteer Fire Department and Acadian Ambulance also responded to the scene
