Two Arrested for Felony Theft Following ATV Incident in Bayou L’Ourse

Bayou L’Ourse, LA – Two individuals have been arrested on felony theft charges in connection with an ATV incident that occurred in the early morning hours of February 12, 2024. Assumption Parish Sheriff’s deputies acted on a complaint received on Tuesday, February 20, at a Bayou L’Ourse retail outlet.

During the investigation, an independent witness positively identified Andrew Luke, 19, and Timothy Wayne Collier, 24, as the same individuals captured on video surveillance stealing an ATV back on February 12. The deputies launched an investigation, confirming the identity of the two suspects from the footage.

As a result, Andrew Luke and Timothy Wayne Collier were apprehended and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center. They both face charges of felony theft, with the stolen ATV valued between $1000 and $5000. Pending bond proceedings, Luke and Collier will remain in custody.
