St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 26 complaints and reports the following arrests:
David Allen Ackman, 42, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 14, 2023, at 1:06 pm on two warrants for failure to appear. Bail has not been set at this time.
Shawn Paul Boudreaux, 44, Centerville, LA, was arrested on August 14, 2023, at 8:11 pm on the following charges:
- Criminal trespass
- Disturbing the peace-intoxicated
- Obstruction public passage
- Possession of schedule II drugs
- Introduction of contraband-penal institution
- Bail was set at $750,000.
All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
