Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Help to Identify Three Females Involved in Iberia Parish Store Theft

Sheriff Tommy Romero of the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to come forward with any information that can help identify the three women featured in the attached photos.

On the evening of October 23, 2023, around 6:30 PM, three women, accompanied by two small children, entered a Dollar General store on Jane Street in Iberia Parish. Two of the women took large trash cans from the store’s shelves, placed them in shopping carts, and began filling them with various cleaning supplies and laundry detergents. Meanwhile, the third woman created a diversion while the other two made off with the unpaid items along with the children. The stolen goods totaled more than $300 in value. The trio is believed to have fled in a white PT Cruiser with a damaged tail light.

If you recognize any of the three women, please contact the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-369-3711 or use their app to submit a tip. You can also reach out to Iberia Crime Stoppers at 337-364-TIPS (8477) or use their mobile P3 app to submit an anonymous tip and become eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
