Sharron Giroir died peacefully at home, surrounded by loving family, on September 2, 2023, at age 65. She was born Sharron Marie Morvant on February 25, 1958, to Leo Morvant, Sr., and Lillian Cormier Morvant.

As a homemaker, a wife, and a mother, she was strong, capable, and tireless, always striving to make everything better for everyone she loved. Some of her talents and hobbies included graphic design and floral artistry. She loved cooking and providing meals for her family, especially around the holidays. She was a generous soul who took special enjoyment from gift-giving and seeing the joy it brought others.

Sharron is survived by her children, Corry Giroir, Jr. and wife Amy, Tiffany Giroir and partner Courtney Yarber of Patterson; six grandchildren, Blake, Alexis, Tristan and Layla Giroir, Aleah Ruffin and Roman Ruffin; two great-grandchildren, Karver Giroir and Adalynn Giroir; and three step-grandchildren, Bailey, Parker, and Ashley Pontiff.

She is also survived by five sisters, Toni (Wayne) Eastling of Berwick, Brenda Morvant of Patterson, Lona (Harold) Thourot and Cheryl (Leonard) Torres of Morgan City, and Lynette Morvant of Patterson; family friend Gina Cutrera; Scott Morvant and Brittany Morvant Bellard, who were like a son and daughter to her; her mother-in-law, Nedra Giroir; as well as six nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Corry Giroir, Sr., her parents, Leo and Lillian Morvant, her brother, Leo Morvant, Jr., and her father-in-law Larry Giroir, Jr.

The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice nurses Lesley, Sheila, Ashlea, and Chaplain Ronald, for their extraordinary care and compassion.

We thank God for the blessings of friends and family who have expressed their love for us in many beautiful ways and pray for His continued blessing upon each of you.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 9am to 11am at Twin City Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11am at Twin City Funeral Home.
