Raymond Charles Rutledge, a longtime resident of Morgan City, was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, March 23, 2024 while surrounded by his loving family. Raymond was 81 years old.
Those left to cherish Raymond’s beautiful memory are his wife of 58 years, Andrea Fay Juneau Rutledge; Kim Marie Rutledge; Brian Keith Rutledge and his wife, Sunshine; and two grandchildren, Braden Aliska Raffeo and her husband, Jonathan, and Raymond Christian Rutledge. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was reunited in heaven with his parents, Charles and Lily Rutledge; and his siblings, Shirleen Louviere and Claudette Agnes Mouton.
The family requests that a memorial visitation be observed for Raymond on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 8:30am until time of services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with infurnment following in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
The family would like to express their immense gratitude to Hope Hospice for their loving care of Raymond during his final days.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the VFW Post #4222 in memory of Raymond.
