Raceland Woman Charged with Theft, Simple Burglary, and Damage to Property

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Casey M. Turner, 34, of 252 Williams Street, Raceland, LA, on multiple felony charges arising from an incident at a Labadieville apartment complex.

Deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of South Holly Road and made contact with the complainant. Deputies were advised by the complainant / victim that his ex-domestic partner now identified as Casey M. Turner made forced entry into his home and caused extensive damage to his personal property. The suspect also caused several thousand dollars of damage to the victim’s vehicle. Prior to leaving the home, Casey M. Turner allegedly stole numerous items from within. The suspect then sent photos of what she had done through electronic means to the victim.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies filed for and were granted arrest warrants for Casey M. Turner.

On Tuesday evening, Casey M. Turner was arrested by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office on warrants from Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Casey M. Turner was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

​*Theft – 5 Counts
​*Simple Criminal Damage to Property – 3 Counts​
​*Simple Burglary

Casey M. Turner remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
