Nadine Lipari Montgomery, a longtime resident of Patterson, passed away at the age of 72 on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 11:55 p.m. at Ochsner St. Mary with her family by her side following a lengthy illness. She was born in Morgan City on March 7, 1949, the eldest of two children born to Luke and Lucy Lipari.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Nadine’s fondest pastime was simply spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved passing a good time with her fellow “Bayou Babes” for their frequent get-togethers, and enjoyed arts and crafts and shopping, as well as breaking bread with those she loved at various local eateries. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate to have crossed paths with her in this thing we call life.

Her beautiful memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of her husband of 47 years, Kenneth Montgomery; her son, Joshua Montgomery and his wife Lauren; her precious grandchildren, Grayson, Anna Claire, and Noelle Montgomery; her brother, L.P. Lipari and his wife Debbie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke P. Lipari and Lucy DeLuca Lipari.

Douglas Courville, JCL as Celebrant for the Mass and Father Angelo Cremaldi concelebrating. Following the Mass she will be laid to rest in the mausoleum in St. Joseph Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include David Lipari, Danny Lipari, Matt Callahan, Andy Callahan, Shane Blanco, Bobby Blanco, and Shannon Richard.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Ibert’s Mortuary in Patterson on Friday, December 17th, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. led by Pauline Bellard.
