On September 20, 2024, Detectives and Specialist with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Bradley Fontenot III (male, 22 years old) for the August 27th homicide of Dallas Lewis. Fontenot was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on the following charges:
LA RS 14.30 First Degree Murder
LA RS 14:130.1 Obstruction of Justice/Evidence Tampering
LA RS 40:966A1 Possession with Indent to Distribute Schedule 1
LA RS 40:1023C Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
