Belle Rose, LA – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Christopher Draper, 27, of 800 Catalpa St., Donaldsonville, LA, on Thursday for felony sex crimes stemming from an incident at a local manufacturing plant.

Deputies investigated the complaint, which was then forwarded to detectives. The witnesses were interviewed as part of the investigation. Detectives were able to identify the suspect, now identified as Christopher Draper, based on several interviews. Detectives determined that Christopher Draper had exposed himself to at least two victims in a lewd and/or lascivious manner at his workplace.

Detectives requested arrest warrants for Draper after the investigation was completed. Christopher Draper is a former sex offender from Ascension Parish. Draper was also required to register in the parish where he works, Assumption Parish. Draper failed to register in Assumption Parish in January 2022, as required.

Christopher Draper was arrested and booked into the APDC on the following charges:

  • 2 counts of obscenity
  • Failure to Register and Notify as a Sex Offender

Christopher Draper is still incarcerated in lieu of a $40,000 bond.
