Sheriff Tommy Romero and the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office are requesting assistance from the public regarding a shooting that took place on May 2, 2024, at approximately 9:15 pm on Jefferson Terrace near the intersection of Highway 90. The victim, Deondric Butler was driving a tan Mercury Grand Marquis when he heard multiple gunshots, he sustained a gunshot wound to his back. He was transported to an area hospital.
