UPDATE: The Bridge is Open Original: Highway 182/Atchafalaya River Bridge Closed Due to Vehicle Striking Restriction Bar

The Highway 182 bridge is closed at this time due to a vehicle striking the height restriction bar. The bridge will remain closed until the LA Department of Transportation of Development can inspect and reopen the bridge. Drivers will need to use Highway 90 bridge and give themselves extra time as traffic delays may occur.
