The Franklin Police Department responded to 15 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Carl Trahan, II, 29, of Gene Rd., Erath, LA, was arrested on June 9, 2023, at 2:04 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of stop signs and yield signs. Trahan was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Reynaldo Zelaya-Buezo, 28, of Leona St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on June 9, 2023, at 3:20 PM, on the charges of speeding and driver must be licensed. Zelaya-Buezo was booked, processed, and released on a $513.00 bond.
Eric Peltier, 43, of Hamm St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 10, 2023, at 8:55 PM, on the charges of simple burglary, simple criminal damage to property, criminal trespassing, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and simple trespassing. Peltier was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
