The Franklin Police Department responded to 21 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Floyd Webber, 60, of Martin Luther King St., Baldwin, LA, was arrested on December 1, 2023, at 9:35 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of driving under suspension. Webber was booked, processed, and released on a $350.00 bond.
Sunnie Andrepont, 39, of Fournerat Rd., Eunice, LA, was arrested on December 2, 2023, at 7:41 PM, on the charges of criminal trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of schedule II narcotics (meth). Andrepont was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
George Williams, 61, of Cayce St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 2, 2023, at 8:11 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension and speeding, and on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of criminal mischief and operating a vehicle while license is suspended. Williams was additionally arrested on the charge of driving under suspension. Williams was booked, processed, and released on a $4,500.00 bond.
Jazzle Rack, 35, of Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 2, 2023, at 9:36 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of stop signs and yield signs. Rack was booked, processed, and released on a $273.00 bond.
Stephen Charpentier, 45, of Rynella Rd., New Iberia, LA, was arrested on December 3, 2023, at 1:14 PM, on the charges of speeding, open container, possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle while license is suspended, security required, and possession of schedule IV narcotics (alprazolam). Charpentier was booked, processed, and held on a $4,500.00 bond.
Louis Cochran, 48, of Genevieve St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 3, 2023, at 1:54 PM, on the charge of resisting an officer by giving false information. Cochran was booked, processed, and released on a $368.00 bond.
Joseph Hamilton, 57, of Easy St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 3, 2023, at 7:44 PM, on the charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated – 2nd offense. Hamilton was booked, processed, and held on a $10,000.00 bond.
Joseph Thibodeaux, 25, of West Ibert St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 3, 2023, at 8:32 PM, on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia – 2nd offense. Thibodeaux was booked, processed, and held on a $2,500.00 bond.
