Earnest David “Bruh-Kool” Gash, 71, a native of Jeanerette, LA and resident of Morgan City, LA, passed away peacefully on Friday January 21, 2022 at 1:52 PM at Ochsner St. Mary.
Viewing will be observed on Saturday January 29, 2022 from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA 70380. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Burial will follow services in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Memories of Earnest will forever remain the hearts of his siblings, Joseph Gash, Sybil (Harold, Sr.) Charles, and Robert Narcisse all of Morgan City, LA, Herman Gash of El Paso, TX and Mary (Craig) Stuberfield of Beaumont, TX; special nieces, Karen Tillman, Annette Gash, and Lynette Gant and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Earnest was preceded in death by his parents: Wilbert Sr., and Gertie H. Gash; siblings, Olivia Ledet, Wibert Gash, Jr., Willie Gash, Sr., Wilford Gash, Whitney Gash, Paul Gash, and Margie Mae Gash.
