Coast Guard to Host Career Day in Morgan City on Saturday

NEW ORLEANS — The Coast Guard is scheduled to host a career day event in Morgan City on Saturday.

The event is open to the public and provides an opportunity for attendees to learn more about Coast Guard missions, explore the services many career paths, meet with local Coast Guard personnel, and learn about the updated requirements and guidelines for joining the Coast Guard. The day will also include a tour of multiple Coast Guard assets including two Coast Guard cutters and an opportunity to watch the landing and take-off of a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter.

The career day will be held from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at 800 Youngs Road in Morgan City.
