Body Discovered, Another Subject Found Injured in Bayou Vista

A welfare concern has led to the discovery of a deceased individual, as well as a second injured subject being found in Bayou Vista Sunday night.

Shortly before 7:00 pm, St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to a welfare concern on Southwest Blvd in Bayou Vista.

Upon entry into the residence, two individuals were discovered. One was deceased, the other was injured and subsequently flown by Acadian Air Med to an out of town hospital.

The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released as they become available.

Also responding to the scene, were Bayou Vista Volunteer Fire Department and Acadian Ambulance.
