BALDWIN, La. — Authorities have confirmed that a woman who was struck by an Amtrak train in Baldwin on Wednesday has died from her injuries.
The victim has been identified as Jennifer Collins Lanceslin of Baldwin.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Rosebud Road, where Lanceslin was struck by the train. Emergency responders arrived on the scene and transported her to a local hospital in critical condition.
Officials later confirmed that Lanceslin succumbed to her injuries.
