ATC Crash In Iberia Parish Leaves One With Critical Injuries

(Iberia Parish) – On June 12, 2022, at approximately 1:00 a.m., deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle accident involving an Arctic Cat ATV located near a sugarcane field in the area of Weeks Island Road.

Through the initial investigation, it was determined that the driver (male, 35 yrs. old) lost control of the ATV when it crashed across a coulee and the driver was ejected into the sugarcane field. The driver of the ATV was airlifted by Acadian Ambulance Air-Med to a medical center in Lafayette with critical injuries.
