Assumption To Participate In “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign”

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon announces the Sheriff’s Office participation in the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign”.

The Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration and the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission to patrol the highways of the parish from August 19, 2022, thru September 5, 2022, in an effort to reduce impaired driving, thus reducing serious motor vehicle accidents.

Funding is being made available through NHTSA and LHSC to the Sheriff’s Office to pay for the impaired driver’s enforcement campaign.
