Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet says detectives have identified 47-year-old Kaegan Jude Solet of Houma as a person of interest in connection with a series of stabbing incidents under investigation in the Ashland Drive area.
Deputies initially responded to the 200 block of Ashland Drive, where they found a juvenile suffering from apparent stab wounds. The juvenile was airlifted by Acadian Ambulance Service Air Med to an out-of-area hospital and remains in critical condition.
As deputies continued their investigation, multiple deceased victims were discovered inside nearby residences. Authorities say at least four victims have been pronounced dead.
Detectives continue to gather evidence and develop information surrounding the incidents. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about Solet’s whereabouts to contact detectives at 985-876-2500.
