MORGAN CITY — Morgan City Police Chief Chad M. Adams announced that Michael Anthony Noel, 53, of Birch Street in Morgan City, has been additionally charged as part of an ongoing investigation by the Morgan City Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.
On January 21, 2026, at approximately 5:56 p.m., investigators obtained and executed an arrest warrant charging Noel with the following offenses:

Rape, Third Degree (4 counts)
Video Voyeurism (8 counts)
Sexual Battery (1 count)

According to investigators, the identification of an additional victim during the course of the investigation linked Noel to four separate incidents of third-degree rape. Further evidence also led to multiple counts of video voyeurism and one count of sexual battery.
After sufficient evidence was collected, investigators prepared an arrest warrant for the additional charges. Noel, who has been incarcerated since September 2025, was formally booked on the new charges into the Morgan City Jail, where he remains pending court proceedings.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. Authorities say additional information will be released as it becomes available.
